This is an update to the yoga swing chronicles. I just finished my workout on my Omni Swing and this is my second week working out with it. I’m more impressed with it each time I use it and I’ve made a lot of progress in a short period of time.
One of the things I noticed after a few times of working out with the omni swing is my overall energy in my body opened up. The best way to explain it is I could feel increased blood flow and more integrity to my body.
Everything feels more connected and I especially feel more blood flow to my pelvic area. The number of different muscles being used really increases that blood flow and it’s made me feel more alive.
I was telling my wife how the way I feel in my body reminds me of how I felt in high school. I didn’t know that until I started to feel the changes.
The creators of the omni gym and yoga swing, have associated the term, movement medicine with their yoga swing. I am beginning to understand this, as my body is waking up in a very special way.
One of the coolest things about these yoga swings is how many different muscles they cause you to use. It forces your body to use many stabilizing muscles, you really don’t use to any degree like this, doing anything else.
I get the feeling, although I don’t have any scientific evidence to back it up at the time, that it moves a lot of toxicity out of your body when you use so many different muscles, in this specific kind of way.
I’m very thankful I have an omni swing and I look forward to a lot more playing around with it. This is truly strength training and flexibility training in one. What I truly love about this yoga swing is it’s fun; I’m sincerely addicted to it.
Here’s a video to show you a couple of poses I just tried this week.
